SAP Loses Appeal In Sky's Software Patents Suit

Law360, New York (August 21, 2009, 1:23 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court has rejected SAP AG's challenge to a ruling that Sky Technologies LLC has standing to sue it over rights to software patents covering technology for negotiating agreements, agreeing with Sky that Cross Atlantic Capital Partners had assigned it the rights after obtaining the patents-at-issue in foreclosure proceedings.
