DOI Adviser Wrongly Fired Over Outside Gig: Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (November 07, 2011, 4:17 PM ET) -- The Federal Circuit ruled Monday that the Merits System Protection Board erred in firing a U.S. Department of the Interior adviser for accepting allegedly illegal payments from an oversight group for his assistance with royalties-related whistleblower actions against oil companies.
