Law360, New York (April 29, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A U.S. appeals court has overturned a federal judge's ruling and resurrected a lawsuit by a sales worker who alleged that sexually offensive language by co-workers at freight company C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. created a hostile work environment.
The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Monday that sales representative Ingrid Reeves — who was exposed to, but not the target of, sexually offensive remarks in C.H. Robinson's Birmingham, Ala. office — sufficiently met the standard for alleging a hostile work environment.
