9th Circ. Backs Nationwide Ban On Engineered Alfalfa

Law360, New York (September 03, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- In a setback for Monsanto Co., a federal appeals court on Tuesday refused to overturn a nationwide ban on planting genetically engineered alfalfa, affirming the injunction until the threats the herbicide-resistant strain poses to conventional crops are better determined.
