Military Contractor Accused Of Hiding Toxic Exposure

Law360, New York (June 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- U.S. Army National Guard soldiers from West Virginia have accused KBR Inc. of concealing the dangers of a tainted water plant in southern Iraq, exposing hundreds of military members and civilian workers to toxic levels of the carcinogenic chemical hexavalent chromium.

In the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia on Thursday, seven National Guardsmen sued KBR and its operating subsidiaries for negligence, gross negligence, tort of outrage and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
