Law360, New York (July 02, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A judge in charge of multidistrict litigation over Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s hormone replacement pill Prempro has followed through on his threat to sanction Bailey & Galyen, a law firm representing hundreds of plaintiffs, for its failure to timely produce completed client fact sheets.
Judge William R. Wilson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas on Wednesday granted Wyeth's motion for sanctions against the Texas-based firm, but he declined the drugmaker's bid to have the firm's plaintiffs tossed from the litigation.
