Trasylol Plaintiffs Step Up Fight To See Bayer Report

Law360, New York (July 14, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation over Bayer AG's Trasylol have intensified efforts to obtain an internal report that allegedly discusses dangers associated with the blood-clotting drug.

On Monday, the plaintiffs urged Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to force Bayer to relinquish a voluminous report prepared by Dr. Kuno Sprenger, who examined the safety of Trasylol in the so-called i3 study.
