DOJ Offers Hint Of Microsemi Divestiture Possibilities

Law360, New York (August 5, 2009, 3:51 PM EDT) -- An updated stipulated restraining order banning Microsemi Corp. from selling the assets of a rival company it acquired in 2008 would let the chip maker divest those assets if the federal government decides the proposed buyer has the capability and the intention to operate as a competitor to Microsemi.
