Fuji Defendants Ask Court To Stay $16M Award

Law360, New York (August 7, 2009, 12:47 PM EDT) -- About two weeks after a judge ordered them to cough up more than $16 million to Fujifilm Corp., the defendants in a long-standing patent fight have asked a judge to stay the monetary judgment pending appeal.

In an application filed Tuesday with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Polytech HK and co-defendants Jazz Products LLC and Jazz President Jack C. Benun asked Judge Katharine S. Hayden to let them wait to pay the bill while they make their case to the U.S....
