DOJ Ends Probe Into Flash Memory Chip Market

Law360, New York (August 20, 2009, 5:53 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice confirmed Thursday that it had ended its antitrust probe into price-fixing in the flash memory chip market.

“We closed our flash memory industry investigation,” said Gina Talamona, DOJ spokeswoman, in confirming the end of the probe.

No charges were filed or fines levied. Talamona could not say when the investigation was closed.
