ITA Says Korean Cos. Dumped Steel Plates In US

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 3:52 PM EDT) -- The International Trade Administration has made a preliminary determination that three Korean manufacturers of cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate sold their products for less than normal value in the U.S. in 2008.

The agency recommended imposing a 32.7 percent dumping margin on Hyosung Corp., Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd. and JeongWoo Industrial Machine Co. Ltd. for products delivered between Feb. 1, 2008, and Jan. 1, according to a noticed published in the Federal Register on Thursday.
