USTR Seeks Public Comments On Export Barriers

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 7:38 PM EDT) -- The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative is asking for public comments on barriers to export of American goods and services as part of a broader initiative to get American producers freer access to foreign markets.

In a notice published in Thursday's Federal Register, the USTR said it was seeking comments on barriers to export created by trade agreements between the U.S. and other countries, which it will use to prepare its National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers next year.
