Verizon Dodges Diabetic Technician's ADA Suit

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009, 3:40 PM EDT) -- A Verizon Communications Inc. subsidiary has won summary judgment in an Americans with Disabilities Act discrimination suit brought by a former technician, following a federal judge's determination that the employee failed to meet a legal burden to prove he was discriminated against because of his diabetes.
