LG, Others Take Netgear Wi-Fi Suit To Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009, 7:34 PM ET) -- Fujitsu Ltd., LG Electronics and U.S. Philips Corp. are appealing a September federal court ruling that over 200 Netgear Inc. products did not infringe three of the companies' Wi-Fi transmission technology patents.

Late last month Judge Barbara B. Crabb of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin found that Netgear's products did not infringe the three patents related to the 802.11 standard for wireless technology and rebuked the companies for making overbroad and unspecific allegations.
