Rivals Head To Trial In Fiber Optics Tech Patent Feud

Law360, New York (October 28, 2009, 6:31 PM ET) -- A federal judge has ruled that Fiber Systems International Inc. can go to trial with claims against rival Applied Optical Systems Inc. for infringement of patents for fiber-optic cable connectors, although potential damages will be limited and the defendant will get a separate trial on allegations of antitrust violations.
