MDL Over Fatal NY Plane Crash Gets Under Way

Law360, New York (November 09, 2009, 5:36 PM ET) -- Plaintiffs are poised to begin the discovery process in the multidistrict litigation against Continental Airlines Inc. and others over a February plane crash in Clarence, N.Y., that claimed 50 lives.

A protective order covering confidential information, a case management order and the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation's transfer order were all filed Friday in the MDL's lead case in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
