Caltech, Canon Settle Camera Imaging Patent Dispute

Law360, New York (November 10, 2009, 2:53 PM ET) -- The final defendant in the California Institute of Technology's patent infringement suit against a slew of digital camera companies has agreed to settle the case.

Canon Inc. and Caltech filed a joint motion Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, asking the court to briefly stay the proceedings so the two parties can work out the final details of their agreement, which was not filed with the court.
