Barnes & Noble Can Release Disputed Nook E-Reader

Law360, New York (December 02, 2009, 3:10 PM ET) -- California technology company Spring Design Inc. has lost its bid to halt the release of Barnes & Noble Inc.'s Nook e-reader, with a federal judge ruling that Spring has not sufficiently proven that the bookstore giant used Spring's confidential information to develop its new dual-screen device.
