2 More Banks Settle Document Retrieval Patent Suit

Law360, New York (December 07, 2009, 7:19 PM ET) -- First Horizon National Corp. and First Tennessee Bank National Association are the latest to settle a lawsuit brought by Mirror Imaging LLC against several banks over electronic document retrieval patents.

Judge David Folsom of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off on a dismissal order dropping Tennessee-based First Horizon and First Tennessee from the case on Friday.

According to the stipulated motion for dismissal, First Horizon, First Tennessee and Mirror Image hammered out a settlement and licensing agreement on Nov. 25....
