DataTreasury, Comerica Settle Banking Patent Spat

Law360, New York (December 14, 2009, 1:55 PM ET) -- Comerica Inc. has settled litigation over several of DataTreasury Corp.'s patents for check-imaging technology, making the Dallas-based bank the latest financial institution to exit the infringement suit.

The companies filed an agreed motion to dismiss Comerica and Comerica Bank with prejudice in the the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Friday. The motion covers all claims and counterclaims between the two sides.
