Stricter Reporting Rules For Medicare Beneficiaries

Law360, New York (December 21, 2009, 3:20 PM EST) -- The federal government has added a significant new consideration for every bodily injury claim and lawsuit filed in the United States after Jan. 1, 2010: whether the plaintiff is on Medicare or about to become a beneficiary due to the alleged illness or injury.
