Class Cert. Sought In Suit Over 'Snake-Oil' CVS Item

Law360, New York (December 22, 2009, 5:29 PM ET) -- The plaintiffs in a class action alleging that CVS Pharmacy Inc. has fraudulently marketed a product it claims can prevent or reduce the risk of catching the common cold are seeking certification of a nationwide consumer class.

The lead plaintiff in the suit over CVS's AirShield product filed a motion for class certification on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
