Google Faces Trademark Suit In Germany

Law360, New York (May 7, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Search engine Google, which has been sued in the U.S. and France over its advertising policy, now faces another trademark infringement lawsuit in Germany.

Metaspinner said it obtained the order from a Hamburg district court in reaction to Google selling ads to competitors tied to searches for "preispiraten," the trademarked name of Metaspinner's price-comparison software.
