Fairchild, Infineon Resolve Semiconductor Patent Row

Law360, New York (January 04, 2010, 5:32 PM ET) -- Fairchild Semiconductor Corp. has ended its battle with rival German computer chip maker Infineon Technologies AG, agreeing to settle two lawsuits over patents for semiconductor technology.

In documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Dec. 28, Fairchild revealed that it had entered a broad cross-licensing agreement and confidential settlement with Infineon.
