Levaquin Plaintiffs Seek To Pry Docs From J&J's Hands

Law360, New York (January 28, 2010, 6:25 PM ET) -- Plaintiffs embroiled in multidistrict product liability litigation over Johnson & Johnson’s antibiotic Levaquin have asked a federal judge to force the defendants to relinquish 1,500 documents they have tried to shield from discovery.

On Wednesday, plaintiffs turned to Judge John R. Tunheim of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, saying Johnson & Johnson has made blanket claims for discovery privileges and tried to withhold documents that are in fact not covered by attorney-client or work product protections.
