Get Ready For The Equal Pay Crackdown

Law360, New York (March 05, 2010, 5:26 PM ET) -- With the Obama administration vowing to crack down on equal pay violations and the Paycheck Fairness Act back on the table, employers who haven't already wiped out gender bias from their pay practices might want to get moving, attorneys said.

U.S. Senate lawmakers are scheduled to hold a hearing Thursday on the Paycheck Fairness Act, breathing new life into a proposed Equal Pay Act amendment that had been dormant since it passed the U.S. House of Representatives in January 2009.
