IP Innovation Calls Off Patent Feud With Google

Law360, New York (February 03, 2010, 2:05 PM ET) -- A federal judge has granted a request by IP Innovation LLC and Technology Licensing Corp. to throw out their patent infringement claims against Google Inc. over its search appliance and popular Google Earth program.

Google's counterclaims were also axed, and both sides were ordered to pay their own attorneys' fees and costs, according to an order signed Friday and filed Tuesday by Judge Randall R. Rader in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
