TiVo Adds Verizon Affiliates To DVR Patent Suit

Law360, New York (February 03, 2010, 3:20 PM ET) -- TiVo Inc. has widened the scope of its lawsuit accusing Verizon Communications Inc. of violating three patents related to digital video recording technology, adding two Verizon affiliates as defendants.

The California-based DVR company lodged an amended complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Tuesday, tacking on Verizon Services Corp. and Verizon Corporate Resources Group LLC as defendants in the suit.
