AT&T Plant Engineers Win Conditional Cert. In OT Suit

Law360, New York (February 03, 2010, 12:22 PM ET) -- A judge has granted conditional class certification to current and former plant engineers who allege AT&T Corp.’s Wisconsin subsidiary violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by denying them overtime compensation.

In an opinion Tuesday, Judge Barbara B. Cobb of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin said the plaintiffs in the case against Wisconsin Bell Inc. had made the “necessary preliminary showing” that the potential class members were similarly situated.
