ITC Issues Import Ban In Rail Wheel Trade Secrets Case

Law360, New York (February 18, 2010, 2:31 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has issued a 10-year ban preventing four companies from importing and selling cast-steel railway wheels made using the trade secrets of Chicago-based Amsted Industries Inc.

The ITC issued limited exclusion and cease-and-desist orders Tuesday against China-based Tianrui Group Co. Ltd. and Tianrui Group Foundry Co. Ltd. and Illinois-based Barber Tianrui Railway Supply LLC and Standard Car Truck Co. Inc.
