Stragent Sues Huawei Over Wireless Patent

Law360, New York (March 09, 2010, 1:19 PM ET) -- Patent-holding company Stragent LLC has accused Chinese telecommunications equipment supplier Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. and its U.S. subsidiary of infringing a patent for wireless technology.

Texas-based Stragent filed suit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, claiming that the largest telecommunications solutions provider in China and its Plano, Texas-based subsidiary Futurewei Technologies Inc. have infringed U.S. Patent Number 7,095,753 by both selling and importing products such as the Huawei Quidway Router.
