Extended Stay Examiner Makes Bid For Public Report

Law360, New York (March 10, 2010, 2:10 PM ET) -- The court-appointed examiner investigating hotel chain Extended Stay Hotels LLC's Chapter 11 filing has asked the court to approve a procedure allowing him to publicly reveal the results of his months-long probe, including information previously deemed confidential.

Ralph R. Mabey filed a motion Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York effectively asking Judge James M. Peck to determine whether information contained in his report must remain under wraps or can be filed publicly.
