RJ Reynolds Fights Over Trial Info In Larynx Cancer Suit

Law360, New York (March 11, 2010, 3:21 PM ET) -- R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and a woman who claims she developed larynx cancer after smoking Salem-brand cigarettes are engaged in a bitter feud, with both sides in the long-running suit battling over the information that should be allowed at an upcoming trial.

In an onslaught of filings Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the company and plaintiff Barbara Izzarelli traded barbs over a range of proposed evidence, including causation testimony, adequate warning arguments and internal documents regarding motive.
