EHarmony Fights Class Certification In Contract Suit

Law360, New York (March 15, 2010, 12:43 PM ET) -- EHarmony.com Inc. has asked a judge not to certify a proposed class of plaintiffs who allege the online dating service matches users up with others who have left the service and can't be contacted, in breach of its user agreements.

Named plaintiff Mellissa Withers cannot represent a class, and the users have suffered no injury, eHarmony said in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Friday.
