ADT To Pay $1.5M To Settle Meal, Rest Breaks Suit

Law360, New York (March 16, 2010, 12:53 PM ET) -- ADT Security Services Inc., a division of Tyco International Ltd., has agreed to pay approximately $1.5 million to settle a class action alleging the company failed to provide its security guards meal and rest breaks and proper wage statements.

Attorneys for the plaintiffs filed a motion seeking approval of the settlement and conditional class certification on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
