Purdue To Settle OxyContin Antitrust MDL: Atty

Law360, New York (March 17, 2010, 5:42 PM ET) -- Purdue Pharma LP has settled a slew of suits brought by indirect buyers of OxyContin accusing it of stifling generic competition by filing bogus patent litigation, just days after its lawyer told a judge that the drugmaker anticipates settling all of the pending cases in the multidistrict litigation.

Judge Sidney H. Stein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York signed off Wednesday on settlement agreements ending two individual plaintiffs' indirect purchaser antitrust suits against Purdue.
