Ex-Brocade CEO Again Convicted In Backdating Case

Law360, New York (March 29, 2010, 1:12 PM EDT) -- A jury has again convicted the former CEO of Brocade Communications Systems Inc. of engineering a massive backdating scheme at the data storage company, a decision that comes about six months after a federal appeals court reversed his conviction.

A jury in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Friday convicted Gregory L. Reyes of four counts of securities fraud, four counts of lying to accountants and one count of false books and records.
