Labaton, Ex-Associate End $12M Contract Feud

Law360, New York (April 14, 2010, 1:44 PM EDT) -- Labaton Sucharow LLP has settled a suit brought by an ex-associate who claimed the firm owed him $12 million for scoring New Mexico's pension funds and other securities and antitrust clients by using his political connections as an ex-assistant attorney general.

Judge Barbara R. Kapnick of the New York County Supreme Court on Monday dismissed as moot the remaining motions in the suit, noting that the parties had opted to discontinue the case.
