CMS Forex Faces Patent Suit Over Trading Software

Law360, New York (April 15, 2010, 5:54 PM ET) -- Online foreign exchange brokerage CMS Forex has been hit with a suit claiming that its VT Trader 2.0 software infringes a pair of patents for technology that automatically resizes images to fit into an end-user's device.

Seattle-based Broadband Graphics LLC filed suit against CMS, also known as Capital Market Services LLC, on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, saying it is being harmed by the alleged infringement.
