GOP Probes Auto Cos. Over 'Secret' White House Talks

Law360, New York (April 23, 2010, 5:25 PM EDT) -- Two top Republican legislators have asked nine major carmakers, including General Motors Co. and Chrysler Group LLC, what role the auto industry bailout may have played in the companies allegedly agreeing to secret negotiations with the White House to set greenhouse gas emission standards.
