Class Plans Appeal To Stop Argentina Exchange Offer

Law360, New York (April 27, 2010, 2:18 PM EDT) -- An attorney for a class of bondholders who lost millions when the Republic of Argentina defaulted in 2001 said his clients would appeal a federal judge's denial of their bid to enjoin Argentina from making an exchange offer without going through attorneys.

Matthew Metz of the Metz Law Group PLLC said he spent Tuesday working on a motion for an emergency stay of an order passed down Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
