Nissim Gets New Shot At Enforcing DVD Settlement

Law360, New York (May 10, 2010, 6:09 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has vacated and remanded a lower court's denial of Nissim Corp.'s bid to enforce a settlement agreement with ClearPlay Inc. pertaining to patent claims over DVD content filters that allow viewers to skip over sex and violence.

The district court erred in its construction of the terms of the settlement agreement, a three-judge panel ruled Monday in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
