States Join Suit Alleging J&J Kickbacks To Omnicare

Law360, New York (May 17, 2010, 2:38 PM EDT) -- Several states have sought to join the federal government's lawsuit accusing Johnson & Johnson of paying tens of millions in kickbacks to induce long-term care pharmacy Omnicare Inc. to recommend its drugs, including the antipsychotic Risperdal, to nursing homes.

On Friday, Indiana became the latest state to file a motion to intervene in the lawsuit against the drug company currently pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
