Ala. Insurer Loses Bid To Query SC Court On 'Charges'

Law360, New York (July 29, 2010, 6:04 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused Life Insurance Co. of Alabama’s request to query the South Carolina Supreme Court on whether the word “charges” should be construed in favor of claimants bringing a class action against the insurer over its alleged failure to make promised payments for cancer treatments.
