Blackwater Tries To Muzzle Workers In $1.2B FCA Suit

Law360, New York (September 20, 2010, 2:29 PM EDT) -- Blackwater Security Consulting LLC has asked a federal judge to bar former workers and their lawyer from talking to the media about their suit accusing the security company of bilking the U.S. government out of $1.2 billion in contracts in New Orleans, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Blackwater filed a motion Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia seeking to bar the plaintiffs and their counsel from talking to reporters, as well as a separate protective order on discovery materials.
