Puerto Rican Insurer Hits Doctors With Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (October 5, 2010, 6:47 PM EDT) -- Health plan provider CompCare de Puerto Rico Inc. has accused a mental health group and its doctors of engaging in antitrust activities and collusion by denying services to the plaintiff's Medicare Advantage recipients.

CompCare filed suit against Santa Cruz Behavior PSC on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, alleging violations of the Sherman Act, the Puerto Rico Antitrust Act, the Social Security Act and Medicare regulations.
