Law360, New York (October 08, 2010, 3:07 PM ET) -- The former chief operating officer of defunct Florida law firm Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler PA has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for her role in disgraced former attorney Scott W. Rothstein's $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme.
Debra Villegas, 42, was handed the 120-month jail term Friday by Judge William J. Zloch of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
The judge also found Villegas jointly liable for $363 million in restitution and ordered the forfeiture of certain assets.
