Nokia Dropped From Xpoint Data-Processing Patent Suit

Law360, New York (October 14, 2010, 12:13 PM EDT) -- Nokia Corp. has been dismissed from Xpoint Technologies Inc.'s patent infringement suit accusing a litany of technology companies of infringing a patent covering an online data-processing device.

Judge Sue L. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware signed an order approving the parties' stipulation of dismissal Wednesday, three weeks after Xpoint informed the court that it planned to voluntarily drop Nokia from the case with prejudice.
