Judge Steps Aside In Infomercial Star's Criminal Case

Law360, New York (October 21, 2010, 1:00 PM EDT) -- Criminal contempt proceedings against infomercial star and infamous huckster Kevin Trudeau have been severed from a $37.6 million civil suit brought against him by the Federal Trade Commission, after Trudeau’s attorney asked the judge overseeing both proceedings to recuse himself from the criminal case.
