Fraudster Isaacson Deserves Full Sentence, US Says

Law360, New York (November 19, 2010, 4:45 PM EST) -- Prosecutors have blasted attempts by convicted financial fraudster Laurence Isaacson to reduce his offense level ahead of sentencing, arguing that Isaacson’s objections to a presentence report did nothing to lessen his role in a $500 million investment scheme.

Isaacson’s claims of substantive error in a presentence investigation report failed to absolve Isaacson of any wrongdoing in connection with the conspiracy and were otherwise without merit, prosecutors said Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
